After discovering a passion and love for music whilst studying, Rich worked his way up through the student night scene in Oxford (Fuzzy Ducks, Bridge Mondays etc…) and London (Crazy Larry’s, Embargo’s etc…). Accustomed to playing regularly in front of 1000’s of people, his exuberance and hard work has also seen him become a co presenter on Oxfordshire’s largest local breakfast show The Morning Glory on the multi award-winning JACK fm in Oxfordshire.

For the past 18 years he’s been the resident DJ at the celebs favourite hotel Babington House in Somerset where he has entertained everyone from Adele, James Corden, Kate Winslet, Eddie Redmayne, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding and a few footballers
Having studied dance-floors for many years, Nige’s main skill is reading a crowd and playing to them - he knows what to play and when to play it. He encourages every client to send their requests and musical dis-likes and he enjoys creating bespoke sets based on a clients requirement, if you want a 60 minute Garage set, 30 minute Reggae set or 15 minutes of Northern Soul he will deliver.
A music lover, he plays everything from Current, Kisstory, Garage, Ibiza, Old Skool, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Rock N Roll, R&B, Indie, Urban, Ska and any other genre from the 35,000 tracks he holds on his Mac although, he will not play the Cha Cha Slide, Birdie Song, YMCA or other tracks that he considers unsavoury music!
Nige is a master DJ who loves a good party with plenty of hands in the air action.

DJ Rick started out working in radio at age 18, presenting music based radio shows to the people of Herts Beds & Bucks. This quickly led to playing live in local venues, pubs and the Chicago rock cafe in Milton Keynes. Taking his skills into London, Rick could be heard daily for many years on Topshop’s dedicated instore TV channel at Oxford circus. Playing out music videos, VJing, presenting links and competitions. Festival Trio - Wedding DJ, Sax and Bongos / Percussionist.
The Festival Trio comprise DJ, Sax & Percussion (Bongo player) offering a live experience to a standard DJ set. Combined, they play fantastic music that everyone can enjoy and rock out to. The DJ plays to the crowd and Sax and Bongos play to the DJ. They improvise in a creative and interesting way. The Sax offers melodic harmonies and sounds great on Soul, Motown, Disco and Dance/House/Club Classics. The percussion plays a mix of Bongos, Cowbells & Drums and works well on most genres. Like our DJ sets they will play for 5 hours without stopping - although the Bongo players hands can get a bit sore by the end of the night.
